The Maré Mia is Gulf & Gray’s expression of coastal elegance—a timepiece designed with a story as personal as its name. Maré, the Portuguese word for “tide,” reflects the rhythm of the coast and the waters that inspire Gulf & Gray. Mia honors the founder’s wife, who helped design the watch and inspired its distinctly feminine character.

At its heart is the Seiko Instruments NH05 automatic movement, a compact mechanical caliber selected specifically for smaller automatic watches. Powered by the motion of the wearer rather than a battery, it gives the Maré Mia the traditional mechanical character at the heart of Gulf & Gray.
